LOS ANGELES, CA (June 6, 2003) - SignResource, the largest volume producer of multi-outlet national sign programs, has recruited three new members to their team since the beginning of 2003. The new senior management team plans to double the growth of the operation to $50 million in sales over the next three years. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Scott Van Ness, the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer, will oversee top accounts such as Shell and British Petroleum in addition to the conversion programs and daily operations at the 315,000 sq. ft. plant. Van Ness was the former Chief Operating Officer at Permlight, the nation's leading authority in LED technology. Additionally, he launched business into the sign industry, revolutionizing the way the industry lights channel letters. Van Ness attended Pepperdine University where he earned his MBA.

Heading the company's growing marketing department as Vice President of Marketing will be Michael Schmidt. In his new role, Schmidt will be managing the company's sales and marketing efforts, as well as the teams that service the corporate and franchise accounts. Before joining SignResource, Schmidt held various management positions, most recently as Marketing Manager at James Hardie Building Products. He thoroughly understands the needs of construction and project management in the signage industry. Schmidt completed his MBA at Northern Illinois University.
